Lana Red: Dip Dye Tutorial. Part 1 →
truebluemeandyou: lanaredstudio: I kept finding fashion photos of dip dyed clothing and didn’t want to be left out in this new trend. So here is a two day dip dye tutorial for you! Today I upcycled an old dress from H&M. The dip dyeing process is actually really easy: 1. Get some fabric paint. I used a package from Dylon. The color I used is Marine blue. 2. Follow the...

DIY Bookpage Roses
you’ll need: a hot glue gun a pencil a ton of book pages (though any type of paper works!) I don’t recommend doing this with kids, as it takes a while and it lead to a whole lot of hot glue. (I think I burned off my fingerprints. Next up-DIY bank robbery!) Cut out petals from your pages-I usually did layers of three. You need petals in varying sizes, from small to pretty...

DIY Anthropologie Love Thread Necklace
the photos from this got wiped, But I can still give instructions! You’ll need: embroidery thread any type of wire (I perfer gardening wire) scissors ribbon or chain Instructions Cut your wire to a good length and straighten it. This is the easy bit. Bend your wire into the shape you want-a word is my favorite. This will take a while and get frustrating. Be strong! Make sure to make...

DIY Stitchless Book Purse
All you need is a hardcover and some coordinating fabric. I used a cloth napkin. Literally anything works. This part hurts, but remove all the pages. With older books, you can just rip out the pages in groups. In newer ones, you may have to use an X-Acto knife.  cut two pieces of ribbon, about 4 1/2” glue both to the inside cover, being liberal with the glue. (I used Tacky glue, but...
